Giralt and Babilonia in the Reina Sofía Museum

Until the 29th of February you candelight in two great exhibitions in the Reina Sofía Museum. If you’re going to be in the city this weekend, you can still enjoy them. The first one is the display Constant – Nueva Babilonia: which gathers over 150 works (collage, miniatures, painting, graphic materials, documents…) that represent more than two decades of the work of the Dutch painter Constant Anton Nieuwenhuys. Nomadism, urbanism and futurism brought together in the artist’s vision.

The showing of the local Madrilenian painter Juan Giralt, also in the Reina Sofía Museum evolves around some of his works in the 70’s, when he separated from the informality and began to develop a more personal language.
